Why did we create this blog? During a daily newscast, meteorologist are only given an average of 3 minutes to deliver the forecast. That is usually enough time to give you a basic idea of what the weather is doing and what the forecast holds. However, with our weather blog, we can take as much time as needed! This allows us to go into more details about weather events.

This is also a place to get advance warning about the potential for severe weather for Central Texas. That way, you are better prepared for what mother nature has in store. During severe weather, we will try to post important information in the FirstAlert Weather Blog, but if things are too busy, we encourage you to watch Channel 25 or our Weather NOW, 24/7 weather channel.
